The Poor Nut plot

John Miller is a college student who suffers from an inferiority complex. He adores Julia, the winner of a beauty pageant. Julia lives far away from him, so he decides to write her letters. In the letters, he brags about his athletic skills. In reality, John doesn't have these at all. In the end, he does not dare to send the letters. When one of the letters is sent by mistake, Julia suddenly appears on John's doorstep.
