The Pickle Recipe plot

"It's not grandma's money they're after."

Joey Miller is the undisputed king in Detroit for bringing music to parties. He is also a single father and is deeply in debt. To make matters worse, during his last party, a wedding, all his valuable sound and light equipment is destroyed in a freak accident. He is soon to DJ at a party for his daughter Julie. After all his options are exhausted, he reaches out to his corrupt Uncle Morty, who agrees to give him the money he needs to get his business up and running again. There is one condition, however: he must steal his grandmother's famous secret pickle recipe and that is her most prized possession. It's a recipe she's sworn to take to her grave.
