The Paleface plot
"Kneel! Kneel to Paleface Squaw!"
A few white men are targeting a piece of land belonging to an Indian tribe because of the presence of oil. The chief of the tribe summons his warriors to kill the first white man they see. Then Buster comes along, chasing a butterfly.

Buster Keaton who becomes an Indian and is attacked on all sides. That's pretty much the summary of The Paleface and effectively, not much else happens. However, it's the execution that makes this even more worthwhile (and I continue to love how the stoic Keaton is on a butterfly hunt and happens to end up on the Indian reservation and even then doesn't understand that he's in an extremely difficult position is located) and there is also some impressive stunt work. Pay special attention to Joe Roberts (without the characteristic mustache that he has in almost every Keaton short film, you would hardly recognize him) as the Chief Indian and Virginia Fox in a very small supporting role as the daughter of the big chief.
