The Other Man plot

Fatty writes a declaration of love to his lover and announces that he will visit her soon with a ring. He would like to ask her parents for permission to marry their daughter. After they finally accept him as their new son-in-law, he plans to announce the engagement at a masquerade ball. However, things don't go as planned when the cook turns out to be a doppelgänger of Fatty, causing some confusion.
