The Engagement Ring plot

Alicia (Lainie Kazan) wants to expand her small vineyard in California, but learns that the only available land is owned by Nick (Tony Lo Bianco). Nick and Alicia were once in love with each other, but that went awry due to a misunderstanding and the two still can't air and see each other, let alone speak to each other. Hence, Alicia's daughter Sara (Patricia Heaton) oversees the negotiations. Sara is about to marry wealthy workaholic Brian, but during the negotiations falls in love with Tony, Nick's nephew. Does she choose financial security or passion?
