The Chest plot

Young businessman John Croft is on the brink of bankruptcy. In his cottage by the sea he finds an old leather wallet with a piece of parchment in it. According to antique dealer Roland Blood, it is a treasure map. John goes in search of 'the treasure of the Santa Maria', but Blood has also smelled money and follows him closely.
