The Black Sea plot

Khalid is a barista from Brooklyn. He's a charming dreamer who quits his job and finds himself stranded in a small Bulgarian town after a Facebook ad opportunity falls through because the sugar aunt he was supposed to meet, Raya, dies upon arrival. As the only Black man in town, he befriends the fisherman Georgi, Raya's son. He also bonds with a local woman in a way he never expected.
