"TO LOVE OR NOT TO LOVE - THAT WAS THE QUESTION"
Shortly after their marriage, Norman Warriner and his wife, Lucy, have a falling out over her friendship with Jimmy Kempster, resulting in an interlocutory decree of divorce to be granted within a year unless the couple reconcile. At a charity bazaar, Lucy dances with Dan Leeson, an oil magnate, who repeatedly proposes to her. When she becomes irritated by her husband's dancing with another woman, Lucy accepts Dan's offer.
