Ten Modern Commandments plot

Kitten O'Day, who works as a maid in a boarding house, refuses a career on the stage, even though she is the daughter of a theater family. However, when songwriter Tod Gilbert moves into the boarding house, Kitten falls in love. Tod pretends to be a success story and announces that he will write songs for Sharon Lee, a big star on Broadway. Kitten then discovers that he cannot contact Sharon's manager, Disbrow, and decides to lend a hand.
