Tausend Takte Übermut plot
In order to save the record company 'Melodia' from bankruptcy, the music producer Manfred Reiner travels to the fashionable Adria-Hotel together with the company lawyer Peter Hold. This is where the talented singer Sherry Davis is staying, with whom Manfred wishes to conclude a contract. His plan is simple and full of masculine logic: he wants to wrap the artist around his finger, so that she then signs a contract with 'Melodia' out of love. But the arrival of her ex-husband Rick Tanner, also a famous singer, disrupts everything.
