Talent Scout plot
Talent scout Steve Stewart, a smooth talker, discovers singer Mary Brannigan while on a publicity tour with a busload of chorus girls. Apex Pictures boss AJ Lambert is reluctant to listen to her because Steve's publicity tour has cost his studio too much money. Nevertheless, Steve takes her back to Hollywood, determined to make her a star.
