"Love goes it's own way"

Forty-six-year-old Maja has been married to Claes for many years. Together with their son Magnus they live a carefree existence. Professionally, she is doing well; she is a successful doctor and is about to be promoted to executive. But cracks appear in her carefree life when one day Claes announces that she wants to divorce Maja. Maja has never had another partner and is now venturing into unfamiliar territory. A colleague advises her to start dating. During a city trip she meets the much younger Andreas, with whom it quickly clicks and the two start an affair.
