Synthetic Sin plot
"If you had to be bad...could you make good?"
Donald Anthony is a prominent playwright in the United States. Donald returns to his home in Magnolia Gap, Virginia, and he proposes marriage to the beautiful and talented Betty Fairfax. Betty accepts, but Donald has to promise her to star in his next play. However, the play turns out to be a flop and Donald tells her she is too inexperienced for the part.
