Slightly Married plot
"A snappy full-length comedy-romance!"
Mary Smith is suspected of picking up men on the street and must appear in court. However, she claims that she was waiting for the man she was going to marry. The wealthy bon vivant Jimmy Martin, who happens to be present at the trial, comes to her defense. He impersonates the man in question, whereupon the judge rules that the couple will indeed marry. Jimmy and Mary think it is only for a short time, but when they truly fall in love with each other, this causes significant complications.
