She Married a Cop plot

Producer Linda Fay is looking for a singer for her new cartoon. When the auditions at her Sutton Place apartment disturb the neighbours, Officer Phil Regan shows up to tell them to tie in. Jean discovers he's a fine soprano, and her boss, Bob Adams, hires him for $300 a week to sing the part, but no one tells him it's for a cartoon.
