Serious Men plot

A slum dweller is tormented by his low social status. However, he has a son who is a genius and takes advantage of the lad's newfound fame. He spins a web of lies to finally ascend in the world. He then comes to realize that his ruse may be especially dangerous for his young son whom he loves dearly.
