Senatorul Melcilor plot

An important senator comes to give a speech in a small rural village in Romania. Then he is asked for an interview by a Swiss film crew. He discovers that he and the crew will be staying in the same villa and he wants to do everything he can to make sure everything runs smoothly. During the interview, he casually says that he would like to eat snails for dinner in the evening. The mayor immediately has the entire village search for the desired, slimy delicacy, which turns out not to be so easy. A village schoolteacher is attacked during her search by two gypsies, who try to rape her. As tensions mount between the villagers and the Gypsies, the senator tries to defuse a scandal.
