Sei Dai Tinwong plot

Three friends, each from different backgrounds in the Hong Kong entertainment industry, decide to form a boy band from scratch. Realizing that none of them can really sing, they enlist another friend, who has released at least one album in Taiwan. Running away from a sour record deal, the band, now called Alive, secretly releases a song on the net. However, they then complain to the press that the catchy tone of the song was illegally downloaded, resulting in a wave of publicity, making the song a huge hit.
