Secrets d'Alcove plot

Four travelers driving together in one car have to stop because of the thick fog and decide to spend the night each telling their stories of bed secrets. 1) Davidson, an English paratrooper, comes knocking on the door of a pregnant woman during the war, whose husband is at the front and is forced to play a midwife. 2) Roberto is in New York for a divorce and hires the services of a specialist. They spend a night together in a hotel and then decide to marry each other when the divorce is over. 3) Riquet helps a beautiful woman along the way, who has car trouble. In the evening the lady comes to visit him and takes him to her bedroom. The man has a blissful night, until he falls out of bed in the morning and realizes that it was a dream. 4) Émile Bergeret advises a teacher a bed that brings good luck. By mistake, this bed is delivered to a woman who becomes first his mistress and then the mistress of a handsome officer. Many years later, the latter, now an old antique dealer, comes to buy the woman's bed because she has assured him that it was the bed of a Pompadour.
