A Berlin summer full of bizarre encounters and absurd twists: A clan boss from Neukölln discovers climate protection for himself, while a gender doll inventor lives out unexpected desires in the Grunewald with a toy gun and a new companion. A beekeeper battles hyperactive bees and a fisherman turns invasive marsh crabs into delicacies. These unusual characters have more in common than their capital city - it's a boiling summer in which they're all hoping for the same thing: rain at last.
