A penniless artist moves into an abandoned house, only to be discovered by the daughter of the former owner. The girl's father died and left everything to his wife, the girl's stepmother, and nothing to her. However, not everything is as it seems, and the artist makes a discovery in the house that could help the girl and help him win her heart.
