Re-emigrantes plot
After a humble life in Madrid, the Briones family is evicted from their home by hard times. They decide to return to their village of origin in the countryside, where the inhabitants live in harmony and are happy. Once there, Santiago, the head of the family, along with his sons Damián, Antoñito, Pólar and Rosendo, try to adjust to their new life. The family does this by taking on a variety of jobs, from working in agriculture to taking care of the mayor's elderly mother.
