Polonaise plot
In the telefilm Polonaise, traffic jams have become a phenomenon in which traffic jam girls, hairdressers or photographers make the endless waiting more pleasant. The film follows a number of people in a traffic jam on the A5. At the center is a nervous Pole in an expensive Saab Convertible who is wanted by the police. A red Panda transports the heavily pregnant Hilde and her cynical sister. Hilde is worried because she hasn't seen her boyfriend after an argument. In an old Saab, a young couple argue. She is a 'yuppie cunt' who puts her marriage on the line for a parking permit and is fed up with her weed spouse. Charlie the record plugger, drives his son's car. He likes traffic jams because there he can conduct his business undisturbed and meet his quiet love, the file call girl Nena. While the characters are increasingly confronted with each other and themselves, tensions rise. A radio pirate chats the storylines together.
