Polikuschka plot

One day, land administrator Yegor Mikhailovich has to choose three men for the next military service. Polikuschka, a clumsy farmhand who can't keep his hands off the vodka, is called, but is soon rejected by his landlady. In addition, Polikuschka's wife can not take care of their five children alone. The landlady sends him on a mission across the country. He has to collect a larger sum of money. But on the way back he loses an envelope with 1617 rubles.
