The cynical Sally lives a life without excitement or romance and that's what she wants. Although she likes to write novels, she earns her money by writing columns under the pseudonym Mr. Know-It-All. After a good review from a celebrity, her column becomes a huge success and the newspaper asks for a photo of the author to Patti, Sally's best friend and agent. Unfortunately, Patti lied to the newspaper and they think the column was written by a man. Then Sally posts a drawing of Albert, a handsome stranger she saw in a movie theater. That doesn't seem so bad, until it turns out that the stranger is a hit man...
