Please Believe Me plot
A man dies unexpectedly in a desert in America, but has made a will. He bequeaths his piece of land to a British lady, Alison, with whom he has had only written contact. Alison leaves for America on her own, but is chased by three men, who have heard of the fortunate inheritance. All three suddenly show a lot of interest in Alison.
