Pipin der Kurze plot

August Pipin is a very reliable, punctual and loyal cashier in a fabric store. He takes his work more than seriously. When one day, through a small moment of inattention, he discovers that he is 300 marks short while checking the cash register, he panics and wants to end his life. But salvation is near when an unexpected offer gives him the chance to earn back the lost money.
