In Mrs Mossie's single boarding house it is strictly forbidden to have women visit. The tenants try to circumvent this ban, but the landlord is always lurking to get it. So O'Brien got caught with a girl and he was able to leave. Bernard Mulligan did manage to smuggle Andela into his room and into his bed. However, it is already tomorrow and his roommate Halibut will be home soon.
