Pastor Shepherd plot

"Love Thy Neighbor"

Shepherd is a struggling door-to-door salesman of freeze-dried pets who lives alone with his ailing mother. His mentally handicapped boss Dewey constantly torments him at work while his nearly exhausted mother is addicted to evangelical broadcasting and drugs. Her financial contributions to these TV pastors paralyze them financially. The GP suggests that she create some excitement for her mother before she dies. When Shepherd loses his job, they set out with their neighbors Annemari-ah and her father to attend the "end of time" event.
