Smart reporter Jimmie Daniels and sports editor Buzz Nelson buy a big truck. When they investigate these, they discover that there is a body in the trunk. When the mysterious woman Margaret Nichols shows up to claim the truck for herself, she is immediately suspected of murder. However, it turns out that Margaret is an investigator from an insurance company tracking down a stolen fortune.
