"The Popular Combination of Meighan and Lee in a Great Story by America's Greatest Humorist and the Author of "Back Home and Broke""

Tom Clark, the co-owner of a New York gas station, returns to his hometown for Old Home Week and poses as the millionaire president of the Amalgamated Oil Co. He is chosen as the orator for the homecoming banquet and is given full financial control over an oil well drilled in the city by Coleman and Barton, a pair of con men. Tom discovers that the well is fake and has secretly connected it to the local reservoir.
