Old Birdie plot

80-year-old Gabrielle is confronted with growing loneliness. Her three children Christine, Jos and Magalie do not make it any easier for her and reject every attempt at contact. They even install a personal alarm for the elderly so that Gabrielle does not have to bother them when she needs help and can contact the emergency services directly. But Gabrielle doesn't just let that happen. How far will she go to break her loneliness?
