Officer 666 plot

In New York, millionaire Travers Gladwin learns of a plot to steal his painting collection by art criminals led by Alfred Wilson. Gladwin pretends to be on vacation, but in reality, he's staying nearby disguised as a police officer. Wilson and his gang arrive, with Wilson posing as Gladwin and a young woman as his fiancée.
