Officer 666 plot
When he hears that notorious art thief Alf Wilson plans to steal his valuable paintings, unemployed millionaire Travers Gladwyn decides to amuse himself by guarding his own house. After bribing Police Officer Phelan, Officer 666, with a $500 bill, Travers dons the uniform and assumes the officer's identity. When Wilson shows up at his mansion, Travers interrogates him.
