The thirty-somethings Michaël, Nabil and Sylvain leave Paris for New York to surprise their friend Samia for her birthday. They secretly arranged this with another friend, Gabrielle. The two women moved to New York two years earlier to try their luck. Samia shares a beautiful loft with a renowned American actress and works for her as an assistant. Gabrielle has a more mundane job in a small retirement home. Their stay is dominated by the adventures they share, from the daily activities to the discovery of this metropolis.
