Nosferasta: First Bite plot

"How can you decolonise yourself, if it’s in your blood?"

In a non-linear time travel spanning 500 years of colonial destruction, the film lays the foundation for the story of Oba, an immortal Rastafari vampire, and Christopher Columbus, Oba's original biter, who team up to spread the colonial infection across the "new world." Glimpses of Oba's early years as a young protégé of Columbus are mixed with contemporary scenes of a now-mortal Oba confronting the imperial bureaucracy he once helped establish.
