Mareike, Dietrich and Felicitas can hardly believe their eyes when their father, who has lived hidden in Argentina for fifty years, suddenly shows up at the door. He has no red cent. His children's attempts to get rid of Father Xaver all fail, and they have no choice but to take him in. But that doesn't go smoothly either.
