"Love is a funny thing."
The retired Walter has not yet resigned himself to the fact that he has nothing more to do. One day he reads in the newspaper that for every retired home-sitter there is a worker somewhere who earns that pension for him. Together with his ten-year-old neighbor Sara, he decides to look for who deserves his pension. His random choice falls on the office clerk Piero, who contemplates suicide because of his extreme embarrassment. Walter assists him, especially in love.
