Nebe a Dudy plot

Rudolf Bartoš, owner of a farm, quarry and factory, is very wealthy and his employees fear him. He is unpleasant in contact, easily irritated and unapproachable. One day he falls down a steep slope and is badly hurt. The stonemason Fábera finds him groaning in pain and takes Rudolf to his cottage. Fábera lives there with his beautiful daughter Anca and his orphaned nephews. Rudolf spends several days in the company of these poor but loving people and his view of the world changes completely.
