Mrs. Slacker plot

Susie organizes plays, the proceeds of which go to the Red Cross. She marries her hero, Robert, but discovers he did so to avoid conscription. When Susie is captured by the enemy, Robert is forced into action. Will Robert be the hero she thinks he is?
