Helen and Raquel Hall are twins, one of whom is married to a songwriter. He does not want his wife, who used to be a well-known actress, to return to the theater. To hide that she does have a part in a musical, she performs as her unmarried twin sister. Meanwhile, the unmarried sister pretends to be her married sister.
