Moonlight Masquerade plot
The estranged business partners John Bennett Sr. and Robert Forrester panic on Forrester's daughter Vicki's twenty-first birthday. Years ago, the two men signed a contract stating that they would set aside a third of their business for their oldest children, on the condition that they marry within thirty days of Vicki turning twenty-one. If they don't get married, they lose their share of the business to the other family. Bennett Sr. then begs his son John, who has never met her, not to refuse marriage to Vicki so they don't lose their controlling interest in the company.
