Mister Cinderella plot

Hotel hairdresser Joe Jenkins is obsessed with newspaper articles about wealthy celebrities. Joe gets the opportunity to pose as eccentric millionaire Aloysius P. Merriweather at a lavish weekend party. At first, Joe is excited at the prospect of informal chatting with the world's richest, but he becomes less excited when he is forced to continue this charade as the real Merriweather has fallen into a coma after a traffic accident.
