Miss Viborg plot
Socially isolated and obese, 61-year-old Solvej, a former beauty queen, lives alone with her dog on the outskirts of the Danish provincial town of Viborg. Every day follows the same routine for her. Driving around in her scooter, she tries to supplement her meager pension by selling the medicines prescribed to her, all the while dreaming of a world outside Viborg and reminiscing about the past. The 17-year-old, rebellious Kate is the bored daughter of her neighbor, who doesn't know what to do with her life. With the prospect of making easy money, she tries to break into Solvej's house. The beginning of an unlikely friendship.
