Middle Life plot

"Life could be great."

Ryan and Andie meet after a car accident. When they unexpectedly reconnect a few months later, a friendship quickly blossoms: Ryan is impulsive and free-spirited, and his sense of humor attracts Andie, who feels trapped in her marriage. Despite difficulties in their individual homes, the two have a blast—from bowling to spontaneous plane trips—until a few unavoidable realities begin to sink in, including the contrast in their personalities.
