Meet the Browns plot
"Good ol' Pop Brown lived to be 107 years old and he only left his family $400 to put him to rest."
When Pop Brown dies at age 107, the $400 he leaves behind his grieving family isn't even enough to pay for the modest funeral. For the past eleven years, his eldest son LB (Kendrick Mays) and wife Sarah have been the only ones in the family who still cared about old Pop. With the funeral budget too low, it's LB and Sarah's daughter, Mi-Lay, who have to cough up the rest. When the rest of the family arrives, Pop is remembered with a smile and a tear.
