Lucky Legs plot
"DANCING, PRANCING, ENTRANCING ROMANCING!"
The dancer Gloria Carroll inherits a million dollars from the Broadway playboy Herbert Dinwiddle from New York. The producer Ned McLane convinces Gloria to give him the money to finance his production 'Lucky Legs', in which she will be the star. However, the will suffers from two problems. The criminal "Pinkie" Connors is angry because he thinks he is entitled to the inheritance, because Herbert was his secret accountant. And in Elmville live two unmarried sisters (Annabelle and Henrietta) of Dinwiddle, who also think they can claim the inheritance. Henrietta hires local young and recently graduated law student Jimmy Abercrombie. Meanwhile, Annabelle tries to convince "Pinkie" to kidnap Gloria.
