Lucky plot

"A Cartoon Writer... A Talking Dog... And A Yard FULL OF BODIES."

The writer's block of cartoonist Millard Mudd (Emanuel) is so colossal that he resorts to excessive drinking. The alcohol feeds his brain with aggressive thoughts and Millard's fantasy world becomes a scene of violence and frustration. When Millard swerves across the road in his car and hits a dog, his life takes a different turn. The dog, named Lucky, is in bad shape, but that doesn't stop the writer from taking the beast home. Rather an injured four-legged friend to talk to than empty beer cans. Talking is not a one-way street, because the dog speaks back. His bizarre stories give Millard inspiration again. But just as his career seems to be taking a back seat, Lucky demands a criminal return that leads to horrific deeds.
