Charlotte Meyers is a Chicago-based author and relationship guru. Her latest book is about how she and her fiancé Doug Forth rediscovered love after solving their problems. The book becomes a springboard to a high-profile television talk show. She takes a blow when Doug announces on the day of the book's launch that he wants to get out of the relationship. Charlotte doesn't give up and heads to the wilds of Minnesota to write a new book. Her guide Rob questions Charlotte's survival skills. However, they realize they have more in common than not - and they fall in love.
