Lightning Strikes Twice plot
"Seven Giggle Stars! In a Weird, Wild Story of Murder-You'll Split Your Sides Laughing!"
After police officer Casey hears a gunshot outside Steve Brewster's lavish home, he calls headquarters and reports a murder. As he relays the information, Casey hears another gunshot and then disappears from view. When Police Lieutenant Foster rushes to the scene of the crime, a shot is fired by an insane gunman and Foster also disappears, most likely killed too. The police then interrogate Martha, the Brewsters' confused housekeeper, and leaves again, unaware that both Casey and Foster have fallen into the sewers and can't get out.
